Nur has a long held interest in mental and neurogenerative disorders, and previously worked as a research assistant in the Yale Movement Disorders Division, as well as the Yale Department of Psychology, where she conducted research on psychopathy. At Yale, she pursued a degree in cognitive science, while also being involved in the Yale Political Union and serving as the co-president of MedX, a healthcare extracurricular organization. She hopes to pursue a medical degree and continue research on OCD and anxiety disorders.
